Lee A. Posted June 3, 2018 Report Posted June 3, 2018 Even with air conditioning my pilot seat gets hot around my lower back. Anyone come up with a solution? Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted June 3, 2018 Report Posted June 3, 2018 Move to Alaska. My wife would love that. Even though we live in one of the hottest places on earth, she is always cold. 2 Quote
smccray Posted June 3, 2018 Report Posted June 3, 2018 (edited) Sheepskin- works great here in TX. I have a set I bought for a J to replace the covers that came with the plane but they didn’t fit the seats in my 205. If they would fit your plane...I need to sell them. TWinter Posted June 3, 2018 Report Posted June 3, 2018 x2 for the sheep-cover. Great summer and great winter. Not crazy about the looks all the time, but I will say the comfort trade-off vs. cosmetic appearance is well worth it. -Tom Quote

But functionally... it’s worth it. Quote
PTK Posted June 3, 2018 Report Posted June 3, 2018 Sheepskins are great! You may also consider a breathable seat cover like this or similar. It works well and less costly. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.aliexpress.com/item/32805975515.html?source=images Quote
gsxrpilot Posted June 3, 2018 Report Posted June 3, 2018 Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get sheepskin covers for the fully articulating seats in a K? Quote

Sometimes adjusting the seat reclining angle helps. Check also with your doctor, it may be a sciatica related pain. Switch underwear, I use boxers, the best for inflight relief. José Quote

thinwing Posted June 8, 2018 Report Posted June 8, 2018 Sheep skin seat covers are the best feeling ,comfortable ,cool in summer ,warm in winter solution there is.When you first get them ,they look terrific especially color matched like aero comfort provides. The problem is they are just like your girl friend or wife when you first started dating..a year or two decades down the line they or she don't look so hot!Still comfy though Quote
