jesse Posted January 31, 2018 Author Report Posted January 31, 2018 Thanks! Last question on the run-out, how much do you try to subtract for that? The entire cost of an overhaul? AOPA puts that at $22k... Quote

steingar Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 When I was looking most of the C's I saw either had no GPS or something really old. The only ones I saw with 430's were hangar queens. Might be worth a premium of the OP has his heart set on a 430. Can't say much more without a closer look athlete airplane. Looks nice in the pictures. Quote

Slight differences give the Mark 21 a slight edge in cruise speed. For instance, the Ranger doesn’t have a retractable step, movable cowl flaps or dorsal fin of the 21s. Also, the later Rangers didn’t have the flush riveted underwing. Though these are small items, they add up to 4-6 mph slower cruise speeds. Mark 21s from 1965 and later and all Rangers have 52-gallon fuel tanks, enough for almost a half-hour more cruise over the 48-gallon ’61-64 Mark 21s. Expand Mine is '64 Mark 21. It has 52 gallons Quote
