Need help with M20C Relocation - Phoenix to Dallas

Hey...a couple of us are just finishing up with annual/pre-buy on a beautiful M20C in Phoenix AZ.  I do not have any Mooney time and would be in need of a CFI that would beb  able to help with a relocation flight on Saturday or Sunday 3/18 or 3/19.  We just need to bring the aircraft from KDVT to KHQZ (Mesquite) in Dallas where she will live.  If anyone knows anyone that could help, let em know.

A delivery flight is an excellent opportunity to get trained on Mooney specific flying... call it Transition Training.

MAPA is a great resource for Mooney training.   Many Mooney specific CFIs can be found through this organization.

Texas is a hotbed of Mooney activity.

go to www.themooneyflyer.com and look in the back of their latest issue . They have Mooney instructors listed by state with contact information. Anthony (carusoam) is correct about this being good transition training time.

Coordinate and get an instructor to fly you and your C-model from Phoenix to Alabama, and by then you can self-fly to Texas, and he brings that other C-model and pilot to Phoenix.

Call Jerry Johnson, MAPA proficiency instructor and an original C owner right there near Mesquite.

Go talk to Chip at Mesquite Aviation. Chip owns an E model and his Chief Pilot helped me retrieve my J and transitioned me into the J. which is based at Mesquite.  Forgot to add that his IA is also pretty Mooney Savy when it comes your mechanical needs.
