gsxrpilot Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 I might do 200 hours per year in the Mooney, but I also do about 300,000 miles/year on the airlines. Santiago Chile and Seoul Korea in the last three weeks and leaving for Buenos Aires on Tuesday. I'd much rather be in the Mooney, but it doesn't pay the bills. 3

It just depends on the weather and the mission which one I choose. I'm glad that I'm fortunate enough to be going places, and I never take that for granted. 2
Johnnybgoode Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Just had another checkride in the mid-sized can (C-130) - makes 8 or 10 so far in my career. Only one check in the big can so far - A330. Just wish someone would "one-time" buy me as much avgas as we put in the A330 coming from Brazil or Argentina to ATL.
