They're building a new taxiway into the runway out of concrete and for some reason it is taking a long time. I do that kind of work for a living and what they are doing doesn't usually take that long. It seems like they have had it shortened for 8 months or more. Obviously having some kind of issue with the job.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone here is based in Los Angeles?
Preferably Van Nuys airport which is my home field, but anywhere in that general area would be OK.

I am currently working on my 3rd rating (already have helicopter and glider) and am thinking about buying a

Mooney M20J once I pass my single engine checkride in the next few months.

It would be great to talk to an owner first and of course do some hangar flying and get the low down on my new favorite aircraft.

And also if anyone knows of a plane for sale around here I'm all ears!

Look forward to hearing from you all!
Simon

Hey Simon, I'm late to the party.  I have my M20G hangared up at WJF and would be happy to take you up if you want to make the drive out.

It's no J, but still a Mooney :D

That would be awesome.  Thanks for the offer.

Maybe around the holidays?

I'll be in and out, just let me know and I'll check my schedule. I'll be here this weekend, but after that my availability gets a little tight. Shoot me a message and we can coordinate.
