EricJ Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 I still use this stuff. Smear it on, everything wipes off with it. I do the belly first, then wash the entire airplane in water at the wash rack so it gets any remaining residue off. Once a year before the annual inspection, whether it needs it or not. https://www.amazon.com/Cleaner-Laundry-Stain-Lifter-Ounce/dp/B01DWNBDEI/ 1 Quote
Bravoman Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 I recently tried a product called Exhaust & Soot remover by a company called corrosion technologies. Bought at Spruce. Comes in a gallon jug. Works very well to clean the belly, I think slightly better than Carbon X which I have used for years. Quote

Hank Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 42 minutes ago, hoot777 said: What not use on the Lasar one piece belly ???? I clean mine with AeroCosmetics Wash n Wax Red. Works great! At annual, leaning against the wall, it takes about 5 minutes (left side and right side separately, divided by the bend in the middle). It leaves a smooth, slick finish. I clean the rest of the plane with Wash n Wax Blue. Quote

N201MKTurbo Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 FWIW, I would be more concerned with what kind of paint is on it than the belly itself. 1 Quote
