flyboy0681
Today I flew VFR into Orlando Executive to meet someone for a couple of hours. Halfway through the trip I decided to zoom in on the Orlando Class B airspace to prepare for my arrival from the south, which would require some vigilance since Executive is 8 miles from Orlando International and approach is notorious for their "stay clear of Class Bravo airspace". Imagine my surprise when nobody was home. I could not get the GTN 750 to display any kind of airspace, be it B, C or D. I futzed around with all of the settings but to no avail. Luckily I had the iPad with me, and no paper. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm on the current release and believe it was working a few weeks ago. I did update the three databases today but can't say whether the airspace was working prior to that.

flyboy0681
Absolutely. By the end of the flight I fiddled with every option on the Airspace page, from Smart Airspace On/Off, to every option on the Show Airspaces page to changing the ranges of Class B/TMA from 15 miles to 75. Nada.
carusoam
Send / copy a message to Trek Lawler. (Our Garmin Contact) Something sounds awfully funny about that being able to happen. Good to have a plan B with you. Best regards, -a-
jasona900
I've never used a 750, but on my 530, hitting the CLR button multiple times will either populate (or un-populate) the screen with airspace, rivers, roads at different levels... maybe something similar on your 750? jackn
While you're on the map page, if you hit menu, the slider on right allows more/less map detail. If you shut off too much detail, the airspaces disappear.
