My MS Flight Simulator 2004 does not run on Windows 10. I click directly on the application file but nothing happens. I reinstalled it from the CD but nothing. I did the free Windows 10 upgrade. It works better than previous versions and most older applications run fine. Any suggestion is welcome.

For $10 download the FS Steam Edition...

It is more app like yet delivers the same FS you've loved for decades...

The steam software company has acquired a bunch of other titles as well.

Don't expect them to supply many updates.

The two Mooneys they have are still the Bravo with steam gauges and a Bravo with a G1000 system.

When you buy FS Steam edition from a catalog house it takes a few days to arrive.  The CD box that comes in the mail is empty except it has a download key number on a label.

See if you can buy the download key directly from steam. Skip the other middleman.

see if this works...

when it is running on your decade newer PC with gobs of decade newer RAM, the old FS runs really smoothly, dial up all the realism you can identify...

the Old Garmin GPS is similar, the KX radios are very familiar.  The flaps don't burry the nose properly.
