WTB Nav/Com/GS radio 14v

My King KX 155 bit the dust and I need to get something else in my plane until can I upgrade the panel.

Let me know what you have.  

If I can't find a good used one for temporary use I'll have to get a new unit to use until I upgrade.

I like my Garmin 255. Wish it was priced a lot cheaper though.

Me too.  I asked him to go ahead and put in the 255.  I don't want to mess with it any more, I've missed several trips already because of the avionics.

Oh well, at least my radios will be good for a while...until the KMA-20 dumps.  

I need to see more of your panel.  Didn't you mount a JPI 900 in the center?

Pictreed, I was at Ezell aviation in Breckenridge yesterday and he had a KX-155 sitting on a shelf. When I had my gyro overhauled he let me use a spare he had on the shelf. No charge.

My wife had some monetary funds set aside for her '64 Falcon rebuild and she converted it to AMUs (hope she doesn't charge interest) so I'll upgrade to the Garmin.  But I appreciate the info.  I borrowed a radio to get it to Denton since they couldn't hear me on the portable.

Perfect.  That's the direction I'm headed in. 

Do you ever wish you'd gone with the 930?  Anything you'd do different?

I'm happy with the 900 since it doesn't eat up a lot of panel space. And since it replaces the primary gauges, it is the complete package.
