Ah, 47N, or as I knew it, Kupper Airport. I learned to fly there 20 years ago and haven't been back in nearly as long.

Fond memories.

Hoping for good weather.

Anthony, I definitely will try to make it, I'm leaving for Vegas on Sunday morning so a story or so will be told to wiffey. Since I'm close I'd love to get there and rap. How many planes do you generally have going. Appreciate all your efforts.

Dan,

201er (or any NJ Mooniac) is better equipped to answer that question.   -memory emoji

We get a fair amount of variation for many different reasons.

Strong winds or crummy visibility can keep a lot of people from flying.

We have filled a lot of tables some times.  My favorite is sitting at the end of a long table full of Mooney pilots and guests.

Less than four Mooneys means crummy weather all over...

Less than eight Mooneys means some crummy weather covering half of NJ...

12 or More Mooneys, the sun is shining and $4.20 100LL is really meaningful.

Let me know if you need help getting free.  I sense an emergency need for a flying accountant coming on....:)

Best regards,

I sent an email using the yahoo NJMooney pilot group email.  I am hoping it works to reach those on the email list that are not on MS.

It is a copy of the initial invite with updates.

My iPad curiously shows Chris' Verizon email address as the origin.

Too technical for me...

Best regards,

Well Anthony, it looks like you are doing a superior job of picking the weather than that other guy from Jersey.

I do have 1 request though. Can I have Peter Garmin for the gift exchange? I've got a couple of great gifts to choose from. One is a lump of coal with Garmin engraved on the side. The other is a gift certificate for Aspen Avionics. I'm sure he would love either!

Doing the best I can with what I have.  Holding the rain for Monday takes extra talent.

I stopped by both the airport and the restaurant this afternoon.  We are good to go for both!

Best regards,

Will have 2 seats open for anyone needing a ride from a close-by airport to mine.  Let me know if interested.

Where are you based? Sounds like Stinky Pants may need a ride from Linden.

Well Anthony, the forecast keeps looking great! You should go out and buy a lottery ticket! And don't forget us CBs if you win. See you tomorrow.

Long Island...KISP.  If he's at LDJ, happy to pick him up at ~1100'ish...?

I'll send him an email and ask that he PM you if he needs a ride. Thanks for offering!

Looks like MVFR skies and super warm temperatures coming from W PA tomorrow.  Should be fun.  The foliage is getting confused this week... A few plants are sprouting up in the garden.

Flashback:  I was just walking down the stairs and saw a "picture cube" on a shelf with a certain picture turned to the side barely showing.  It was taken at 47N (Kupper) Central Jersey Regional airport (where I learned) just after I got my certificate in late '94.  Loved the '76 C150M.  So fun.

See you there tomorrow.
