Oscar Avalle Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 So we are on for December 12 at noon. I am coming with Mateo and Fausto... my two copilots. According to Fausto (5 years old) the Mooney is his plane. 2 Quote
Lance Keve Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Ah, 47N, or as I knew it, Kupper Airport. I learned to fly there 20 years ago and haven't been back in nearly as long. Fond memories. Hoping for good weather. 1 Quote
Danb Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Anthony, I definitely will try to make it, I'm leaving for Vegas on Sunday morning so a story or so will be told to wiffey. Since I'm close I'd love to get there and rap. How many planes do you generally have going. Appreciate all your efforts. Dan 1 Quote
carusoam Posted December 3, 2015 Author Report Posted December 3, 2015 Dan, 201er (or any NJ Mooniac) is better equipped to answer that question. -memory emoji We get a fair amount of variation for many different reasons. Strong winds or crummy visibility can keep a lot of people from flying. We have filled a lot of tables some times. My favorite is sitting at the end of a long table full of Mooney pilots and guests. Less than four Mooneys means crummy weather all over... Less than eight Mooneys means some crummy weather covering half of NJ... 12 or More Mooneys, the sun is shining and $4.20 100LL is really meaningful. Let me know if you need help getting free. I sense an emergency need for a flying accountant coming on.... Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
Danb Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Anthony...awesome.i believe we will have to talk about the tax extender bill and all the tax benefits of Mooney ownership on that Saturday.I Got it! 1 Quote
Seth Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I will try to make it! Put me down as a maybe for now -Seth 1 Quote
Shadrach Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I am still in and will likely swing by NE Philly to pick up Dev on my way! 3 Quote
Marauder Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 The long range forecast is looking great for Saturday, the 12th. Should be able to make it out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote
carusoam Posted December 8, 2015 Author Report Posted December 8, 2015 I sent an email using the yahoo NJMooney pilot group email. I am hoping it works to reach those on the email list that are not on MS. It is a copy of the initial invite with updates. My iPad curiously shows Chris' Verizon email address as the origin. Too technical for me... Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
aviatoreb Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Hey -A- Put me down as a maybe. A likely maybe at this moment. 1 Quote
Marauder Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Well Anthony, it looks like you are doing a superior job of picking the weather than that other guy from Jersey. I do have 1 request though. Can I have Peter Garmin for the gift exchange? I've got a couple of great gifts to choose from. One is a lump of coal with Garmin engraved on the side. The other is a gift certificate for Aspen Avionics. I'm sure he would love either! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2 Quote
carusoam Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 Doing the best I can with what I have. Holding the rain for Monday takes extra talent. I stopped by both the airport and the restaurant this afternoon. We are good to go for both! Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
fantom Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 As a Christmas gift, I'd like a video of Peter Garmin's landing, or landing attempt(s). Quote

Lance Keve Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Flashback: I was just walking down the stairs and saw a "picture cube" on a shelf with a certain picture turned to the side barely showing. It was taken at 47N (Kupper) Central Jersey Regional airport (where I learned) just after I got my certificate in late '94. Loved the '76 C150M. So fun. See you there tomorrow. Quote
