MooneyMitch Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Anyone had experience with these folks for this process? They're are licensed under the Wilmar gang for this service and they seem to have a good reputation for such. Thank you. Quote
GeorgePerry Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Don't know them but thier BBB rating is pretty good... http://www.bbb.org/oregon/business-reviews/aircraft-servicing-and-maintenance/advanced-aircraft-service-in-troutdale-or-22130592 Quote
panther1400 Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 I dont about them exactly but the guys at Willmar seem very picky and do a good job and have a great reputation that I'm sure they wouldn't want to lose by having another shop do less than par work. But with no experience with them I can't say forsure. Quote
MooneyMitch Posted September 27, 2010 Author Report Posted September 27, 2010 Whoops! I should have done my homework first. Good information right here on Mooneyspace already. Thank you for adding to it though. Fuel Tank Resealing - Willmar Process-AAS KTTD OR Quote
MooneyMitch Posted October 2, 2010 Author Report Posted October 2, 2010 Jolie's Mooney is at Advanced Aircraft Services for the complete re-seal, which is performed under license from Wilmar. Ed and Greg are nice folks and appear quite confident and most qualified for this. There shop is very neat and tidy too. They are currently offering a 15% discount on this process. Looking forward to the final results. We are supposed to retrieve the plane in 4 weeks. We'll let you know the results. Quote

MooneyMitch Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 Quote: DaV8or Wow. I thought the process was quicker than that. I read somewhere that it only takes a few days. That was supposed to be one of the big advantages over traditional methods. Are you guys getting other things done too? Quote

MooneyMitch Posted November 5, 2010 Author Report Posted November 5, 2010 No mods for the E model. It's stock. Just an exterior freshen up. We did the interior, panel update [no Garmin or glass] and windows a couple of years ago, now the outside. She love's it just the way it is. Honestly, the E such a great airplane, as is the F and all the other Mooney models. Jolie has not completed her paint scheme drawings yet. Colors? Time will tell. Quote
