We are having a free fly in Elba, Al (14J) on Sept 4th. It would be great if some Mooneys showed up. Gas is currently $3.75!

I might can make it - is there going to be any activites or food (like an EAA breakfast)?

Also, on the sectional chart, 14J is not depicted as having fuel.  Is this a new feature for the airport?

Nice area there. Was stationed at Ft Rucker for 7 years. It would be nice to see the area again.

Just stopped in Elba on the way southeast last weekend- nice airport, good service, great avgas price. Highly recommended. Too bad we're headed in the other direction this weekend, Earl permitting.

Yes everything is still a go this weekend.  There will be a free pancake breakfast and paid barbecue lunch. I dropped some stuff this afternoon and several people had been working hard to get things ready. Its hard to get a accurate count, but we are expecting 30-40 planes.
