dcrogers11
I sure would hate to have someone think of my Mooney as "disappointing" I'm certain it's not as nice as most but it's pretty special to me. I think he was disappointed at the number of E's present at the homecoming and not the condition. I think most all members here will appreciate ALL our birds no matter what they look like. They're a Mooney after all. Don

You and me both. I get lots of complements on my paint job, but that's always from 50' away. It really is a 50' paint job and my interior... well, it's functional. Still, I love my ol' bucket o' bolts with it's war stories. Oh and I think I'll make it this year. I tried in 2011, but the starter died on the day of departure and I had to miss it. Every year since then, money has been tight and gas prices high, but this year, money is still tight, but gas is low, so I think I will toss my accountant (me) out the window and go!
Bob_Belville
We got a plant tour last year, saw some new machines still crated, the plane that was headed for Oshkosh almost finished with a few more coming out of mothballs... I'm thinking this year's tour is going to be really fun!
Mooney_Allegro
I'm looking forward to attending again in May. Last year was my first time attending & I met some really nice people including Dr. Chen. Lots & lots of beautiful Mooney's.
dcrogers11
I just booked my room at The Inn of the Hills and all they have left were the 2 queen bed rooms. I didn't ask how many rooms were left in our block of rooms, but it would be prudent the make the call pretty soon if you plan to attend and want to stay at the host hotel. Also, the 14th is the last day for the $99/night rate for us and the 17th is the last day to get registered at the $180/person rate. It goes to $250/person after that. NB-If you didn't see Greg Ellis's post regarding the Southern Vintage Mooney Group fly-in, it is in a couple of weeks on the 25th at my home airport, The Landings (66TE) in Pecan Plantation near Granbury, TX. Hope you can attend. Regards, Don
JohnB
I'm there! This will be my second event attending. Very much looking forward to the "road trip", and seeing the faces behind our posts here and the Mooney Skies!
