Oh man- beautiful paint job...

I'm surprised that Mr. Frankenmooney aka the submarine peddler hasn't gotten the scoop on that one yet...

Edit: maybe that's him on that canoe...

Post accident, it was reported that the NTSB investigator told the pilot, "In fact, there never has been a runway here!".  :D

Hope it's not somebody we know!

That's a recent paint job, but I can't tell if it's a long body or not.

NOTE: This is in the part of Wisconsin just downstream from Columbia, SC.

I guess he forgot to extend his retractable floats... plane looks in one piece, so hopefullly everyone walked or swimed out...

Showed my wife pictures now that we just landed. .. She says she thinks it's flooded!

TO which I replied YA Think!

First my hope is all are ok the rest can be replaced!

Pretty much the same result, but I am a bit biased toward Sully's landing in the Hudson.

Assume he also landed gear up. As they say " Any landing you can swim away from".

Glad it was only minor injuries. As for Sully I have listened to the recordings I'm sure we all have and they never give any credit to his first officer and I can't even recall his name but that guy was right there on top of everything he needed to do to get them that fantastic result. And I bet it was all stick and rudder and no auto land that was able to pull that off.
