OP ED-"Little Timmy Wants to Know Why Nobody Likes Airplanes Anymore?

Recommended Posts

Thanks to AssfromCB I have learned the following today:

-I am fearful, simple minded and easily manipulated to do bidding of corporate overlords

-I fear liberals power (my personal favorite)

Good stuff. Remember it's not 5PM yet and tomorrow is a new day!

Pretty much sums you up based on years of your posts. I'll rehash thru two topics:

Of course you are easily manipulated to do the bidding of the corporate overlords. You seem to have on obsession with Keystone pipeline. A project that can only hurt you in both short and long run. As an Iowa resident, the pipeline will only make your gas prices go up as it will allow the oil to flow directly to the coast to be exported out of USA instead of hitting Montana refineries. Currently, a lot of it ends up in a form of cheap midwestern gas. Do you for a second think it will make gas cheaper here in Iowa? So yes, I will say that going against your very own interested makes you easily manipulated.

Of course you fear liberals, they and last 80 years of their policies seem to have singlehandedly destroyed your future and the future of this great country. It can't be that your proposed policies are not reality based, it can only be some dark liberal forces working behind the scenes, working against good, God fearing Americans, majority of whom are already in full agreement with you. And yet you keep on losing. How can that be.

That's according to you, not me, BTW. Yes, I am interpreting your posts. Sue me.

I don't believe the United States benefits from liberalism.

Sure you do, your so called "victims" in need of help just happen to be border patrol, cops, soldiers, defense contractors, oil companies, war on terror, war on drugs, war on fun, etc. Did you scream as loud when RR tripped the deficit in 8 years, did you scream anywhere as loud when GWB doubled it in another 8 years, or did you only wake up when Obama pulled of more of the same. Did you praise Clinton, who only increased it by 32% during his tenure vs 240% increase in during the 12 years of his predecessors, or did you just focus on Clinton's propensity to get his shaft licked, which BTW, in a free society, should have not been anyone else business. But if it was our business, then we should then not have prudes enough to take out Slick Willy getting himself some ass licking action from the Starr report. Or was that too much even for the blood thirsty conservative base to handle:

Hehe,

We're going to set a new posting record thanks to "Little Timmy".  I have a two part answer to our energy woes.

Part 1: Nuclear  Just watch "Pandora's Promise" and/or watch a few of Kurt Sorensens vids which help make it understandable for the nonengineer.

Part 2: And what will we be putting in our tanks? Well there's a Navy chemical engineer who's making Jet fuel from CO2 and Hydrogen that she gets out of sea water. You have to put energy in of course (nothings free) but in a world where no fossil fuels were coming out of the ground we might still be getting fuel for our Mooneys.

Some research will be needed but the real hump is regulatory.

And what's my favorite regulatory rant?  Hmm.. I think I read that GAMI's 100UL fuel could be blended up at most refinery's and delivered to us tomorrow but for one guy at the FAA dragging his heals. That get's me irritated.

First: Obama talks down small business owners and minimizes their ingenuity, drive and ambition, by telling them, they weren't really any smarter or harder working than people who are relative failures.

I know what you mean Dave, Obama has been an absolute disaster for the economy and stock markets. I really feel for those poor employees of Uber and shareholders of Apple and Google, all that ingenuity and where did it get them? All because of Obama.

An accurate account of the political rhetoric and events ... I must have hit a nerve? All you can reply is Obama fixed the economy? (Which isn't exactly true either)

No doubt he would get 100% of the blame if the economy tanked during his tenure. I guess that's politics. No different than his getting the blame when gas prices went up but not a word of credit when it plunged (btw, my personal feelings are the president has absolutely no control over gas prices, contrary to what Fox says).

Much as I resist the urge to post on the Timmy debate (cuz I'm really bad at debating) news flash the earth is not a dead ball and according to some things I have read and watched is still making fossil fuel. Even the anti fossil fuel crowd has had to accept this fact. None of this is about saving the planet or left vs right or any of that its all about control and posturing for power. It goes beyond Washington it's about global control and agenda 21 where we will all be herded into urban zones and private property rights will be sacrificed using the save the planet as the mantra for this ultimate end.

As a species we can no more save this planet than kill this planet. God the vanity of humans. Let's say the super volcano that is centered around Yellostone decides to erupt and causes a real climate change are you going to stop the change by driving a Prius I doubt it. As for political debate they are all full of crap and care only about themselves. And even though the government says we did not build that well that's a load of crap too taxes pay for it the government then appropriates the funding and private industry does the work. I have never driven by a bridge project where the names on the sides of the trucks said U.S. Govt bridge company.

Blah Blah Blah!

The Saturn 5 is still the bad ass of the sky, I watched the lift off this morning on Fox. Oops I just showed my hand.

The Saturn V was the only rocket produced by the US that didn't have a single failure.

I know a guy who lived in Orlando during the Apollo missions and said the ground rumbled all the way over there during a launch. I have personally seen many Shuttle launches from my house, and I live 200 miles to the south.

I'm still waiting for Al to apologize for the Tawana Brawley episode.

I think he already did and we must have missed it. He's worthy of a show on MSNBC and countless visits at the White House with your president flyboy4 44.

Obviously the nation, as well as the president, loves him for his entertainment value. Reminds me of the time when Rush Limbaugh was invited to the White House. I believe that was later in the administration, but after Jack Abramoff.

You seem incapable of focusing on the present and you justify everything with things that have no relevance with the price of goats milk in Patagonia....reminds me of the time Monica Lewinsky was brought into the office for entertainment value.

See, cute but soooo annoying.

While we're at it, how about Elvis and Nixon?

So what you are implying is that once Obama is gone, and say we have a sitting Republican, that there will be no references here to Obama at all? Is that what you are saying? isn't that being a tad disingenuous?
