I was told the hartzell prop would be easier to find so here I go looking for!!!

After talking with some A&P and IA friends of mine, I guess I've been talked into getting a hartzell instead of a Mccauley. I preffer mccauley they have less AD's less problems. Anyhow so here I go in search of a hartzell for a M20F model.

What kinda propeller you want? I can get ya whatever brand you want. You want a C430 McCauley 3 blade, Hartzell 2 Blade or Hartzell 3 blade?

No 3 blades the factory 2 blade per the type certificate will suffice.

Okay, so your looking for the hartzell..... I do not have a "B" hub to build you a non-AD hub with, but I do have the blades. Would you be Intreasted in a Factory new propeller?

Hmmm, so let me get this straight . . . you are saying you prefer McCauley and you're aware McCauley, " . . . have less AD's less problems", and yet you are looking for a Hartzell??

They havent made the Macauley since the 60s , the blades don't exist anymore , The best way to get a newer prop is to find a Scout owner who did the MT upgrade , you will have to get a spinner and have the blades cut 2" but it will work well....I sold a B hub Hartzell last year for 5500.00 ...... Good luck....
