I was elated when the news came that Mooney was reentering production in January 2014 but other than a brief interview with Jerry Chen and a press release or two, I haven't heard anything else. I guess I expected Mooney to redesign the website or at least give some hints about new innovations, etc. And please some new merchandise!!! Right now if you want a nice Mooney fleece jacket or fitted hat you need to custom order it... I am very excited about the Mooney brand coming back but I wish they would market their products a little better. That being said has anyone heard any news about production resuming? I can't be the only one wondering..

Oh my!!!! You are expecting strange things from Mooney...
Ever heard of "momentum", "mass" and "things that matter"?

The new owners will have to gently push a skyscraper to get Mooney going again and I pray that merchandise, fleece jackets and website are the very last points on their schedule!!!!  :P

I agree the merchandise is not a priority. Guess I'm just anxious to see what they have in store for the new models

I was wondering the same - if there would be some sort of annoucement of production, and what updates they are making to the M20TN and M20R.  What pricing will be and when to expect first delivery, or even take deposits on delivery slots.

Edit:  1 per month, then 2 per month, then as demand dictates.  The first 2013 Mooney should be ready by 3rd quarter.  They are going to try to start the line in 6 months, last time it took 12 months.

I read the Avweb story, but like Spenscot I would think Mooney would have this news (excitement) on their website. If I were launching, or relaunching, a product, getting consumers talking is job 1. We are in tune to Mooney Aircraft more than anyone on earth and we are desperately searching for news. I also feel that merchandising is a very easy, and inexpensive way to generate interest, excitement, and some cheep cash flow to the company while they are gearing up production. It would take one intern and a laptop to get shirts, jackets, caps, etc. made and for sale.I know you guys will buy anything. I have a drawer full of concert T shirts that cost $40.00. He'll my wife would order 100 pair of earring tomorrow(lol)
