gpappy Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 I received a job offer that would require a move to Dallas and need to know what my options are as far as hangar space is going to be. I own a hangar in Michigan where I keep the Mooney now and I don't want to have to leave any plane tied down if I can help it, especially my 201. Quote
DonMuncy Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 There is space at RBD where I, and several other Mooney pilots call home. There are someolder hangars (like mine) for about $250 per month, and Cutter has some really nice new hangars for somewhat more. RBD is a very short distance from downtown on the south side. There is self serve fuel (generally about $1 higher then auto gas). Multiple instrument appraches, reasonable services on the field. Contact me directly and I will fill in any desired information, get you contact information or anything else I can do to help. Don Muncy 214 360-9293 or cell 214 207-6744, d.muncy@sbcglobal.net Quote
gpappy Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 Don, Thank you for the response and the kind offer. I am in the early stages of discussions and not sure how serious it will get. The job is not exactly what I was looking for and I don't know how desperate I will get yet. Looking like we should be hearing the "Last one out turn the lights out" jokes about Michigan again soon. KSMooniac Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 What part of the Dallas area will you be in? That makes a huge difference in airport selection. Quote
