mcpilot
Does anyone have a source with part numbers for a verticle card compass and mount for a 201? The bracket on mine is cracked and now is a good time to replace with vertical card... Thanks MM

N601RX
I found one on e-bay for less than half price several months ago. So for I've been very happy with it. I like it much better than a wet compass.

larryb
You use your compass?
flyboy0681
You use your compass? I'm finishing up my instrument work and it's used all the time. Now once I get my ticket I assume I'll rarely glance at it again.
Piloto
I am very happy with my vertical card compass. With all the turbulence here in Florida is a must to have. José
fantom
I'm finishing up my instrument work ..... Your 'fine tuning' is taking quite some time
flyboy0681
Your 'fine tuning' is taking quite some time I've been home very little since I made that statement, and I'm on the road for 3 weeks out of each month until the middle of December. Right now I'm in Phoenix for the next two weeks. Of the time that I have been home, my CFI has been on the road. Time is very limited these days. Bennett
I have a vertical card compass on my 20 J. I've had them on every airplane I have owned. All were excellent, but took a bit of time to adjust, and build a deviation table. Nice to have an independent source of heading, but what I really use it for is for getting a handle on runway directions approaching an unfamiliar airport
Jonwayne79
I'm looking forward to putting a vertical card compass in my 201. I had one installed in a 172 that I used to own and I loved it!
