Those are not correct The fitting from rocket has grippers that snap on to the fitting and hold the drain tube on while depressing the center so it drains.

Yikes. You need to get your hands on that chart because the mp for the intercooler is much lower than a stock engine for the same power percentage. I probably still have a copy for the turbo plus intercooler if that's what you have. 28 inches is what I ran for basically max cruise on the same setup. A chart from a 252 would be acceptable as well I think. A merlyn and intercooled 360lb really needs someone with experience on that particular setup. You can find all you need around here however. Be careful. You'll overboost that engine in the blink of an eye. -

.5 I believe is what the recommended (or less) Did your transition CFI have much 231 time? It kind of sounds like they didn't. And with the intercooler and merlyn it's a bit of a unique engine to manage. -

With the intake you have on the 360lb it might not run well lop. Ours didn't. Other people have had success. Definitely set it by tit but watch the cht, you might have to trail flaps to keep them in check. I didn't let mine run over about 380. 28 inches is probably about 75 percent power, maybe a little high for lop ops, you are using the conversion chart for the intercooler, yeah ? -
then they are of no interest to me.

Keep in mind also that it sounds like trutrak might not have all features certified, from their video anyway.
-
seems to me that the trutrak is the clear winner.

Sounds like Mike is doing a fine job of it. I should really join savvy MX. -
Guess I'm the odd man out. It has made no difference in how the GPS functions for me. I use none of the new features.

Vfr flight plan would help but not until the aircraft is well overdue. -

Just buy the 406elt. It's not that much money and the reasons have been beaten to death. The response time to a 121.5 is very slow and getting slower. Airliners will pick up a signal from a hundred miles away or more. It's not useful information. Need lower traffic to pinpoint it. Also need people to monitor and actually tell someone. You should be monitoring guard anyway. It's the first place someone will be looking for you if someone is looking for you. -
I'll swing by and grab that prop, you won't need it for several weeks anyway

I try to take a week long trip about twice a year. This year it's Cali and Oregon again.

Thinking about buying a Mooney TLS or Acclaim
peevee replied to Marco's topic in General Mooney Talk
How much is avgas over there? I guess in the grand cost of ownership it might not be a huge expense, but I would think fuel efficiency would rate high on the list of wants. -
Not the Mooney but got an hour of dual in a 172 in Hawaii. Didn't download too many pics from the cam yet. It's amazing how quick the weather changes here. These can't be more than about 30nm apart.

Coming from a 231 the rocket is about the same workload, maybe slightly less in my opinion. Temps are not a problem on ours, ever. Mixture is a bit of workload though. Stay ahead of it and you'll be fine. If you're out Colorado way two of us owners on our rocket are cfis

I don't? When am I ever going to be like "this guy, carusoam on the internet said......."?

My thoughts also unless you could attribute it to an error made by the shop and they could go after them Also, with the blade still attached would the imbalance be enough to warrant a teardown and mount overhaul? I'm dubious. No doubt it vibrated but how intensely and for how long and how does one make that determination?
