anyone have a decent setup for a full size ipad? I have a leg strap but that means I can't have a clipboard or other writing surface, I have a similar (exact, actually) setup to cnoe, but it blocks the HSI, even bottom mounted.

So this image I stole reminded me, is your flap indicator as shown below back lit? Ours isn't so I don't know if the bulb is out or if it just isn't back lit.

I don't know anything about anything, but I agree with you. It seems to me I don't run into too many younger folks interested in flying, and the ones I do know have given it up for one reason or another. Coupled with a documented sharp decline in new certificates issued I worry GA is going to be out of reach of the common man.
