    I have upgraded mine and have some parts left over. Supply the pi, sd card, a case, and a fan controller and I'll build it out and send it to you. Linked above are the old receivers, the new low power sdrs are better.

    I'd probably swap the rocket for a 4p let alone the turbine.

    well, depending on the airframe that's huge. I couldn't take 30lbs more over what we have with the t-520 on the nose. Then someone has to make a mount and STC the whole thing to the airframe. It'll never happen I'm afraid.

    there's already a 182 turbine conversion out there, not a huge stretch on a 180. I think a turbine mooney would be essentially useless and impractical. There are two turbine bo's at KPSO apparently. I guess they like them. I think they are both rocket conversions http://turbinebonanza.com/

    A rocket with do 175 at like 60 percent power, lol I would think a 231 or a rayjay converted e or f would do the job just fine.

    I'm the same with the halos. I sold mine after a few flights and stick with bose a20s many people love the halo and clarity aloft though. there's a video on phil's youtube that shows the correct angle to insert, it is possible you're not getting all the way in the ear canal? it requires a somewhat awkward angle.

    We're flying to see it but unless it's cloudy well see it from the ground. Would being at 15k feet change the angles enough that it wouldn't be as good the air?
