  1. So yyc definitely off the table. Worst case Lethbridge is on the way, I'll stop in cut bank to tanker in cheap gas. Any rental car suggestions? Go through the fbo is probably the easiest but I don't know about the pricing. We won't be coming until mid August, so I have time. Need charts now too.
  2. I'm not sure, it's listed on the can pass list but not the aoe/15 list. If they'll accommodate that would be handy.
  3. OH I see, I need to look at AOE/15 Doh http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/do-rb/services/aoe15-eng.html yeah, I'll just stop at lethbridge if I have to.
  4. they say 4-6 weeks, I'll fire it off tomorrow and see if I can't get lucky. It's good for 5 years so I'll use it another time anyway. I do not see lethbridge, only calgary and endmonton in AB http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/do-rb/services/aoe-eng.html
  5. Thinking about visiting Banff and it's an airport of entry, it doesn't seem terribly ga friendly. I can stop in Montana and tanker in gas so I won't have to buy expensive Canadian fuel, but how about the fees to tie down? Million air usually isn't too bad in the states. Cybw doesn't appear to be an airport of entry unless I have a can pass and I don't have time for that I don't think (4-6 weeks). I can try and stop short I guess then to cybw.
  6. You seem to spend a lot of time worrying about how and where to pee. You sure all the plumbing is ok?
  7. Sioux sucked fat one this year. From a championship to not making the frozen four My work lanyard.
  8. I see them, we don't have them.
  9. of the two rockets I've flown, neither had those scoops. Our CDT temps are very low so it hasn't bothered me.
  10. That's because all the gas sucked out of one tank balances it out
  11. Here we go again. If they can do it in the space shuttle you can do it in a Mooney!!
  12. I wouldn't know with my puny 305hp.
  13. On a mid body it's a lot of trim. The lb might be even more.
  14. if you tap settings you can limit the displayed traffic to +\-3,000 feet of your altitude. Reduces the clutter, if you didn't know it was an option.
  15. when I picked up our airplane I put the toilet lid down after I peed. I guess I worked for don now too!
  16. Worse is when you get the top cowl on and all fits just right and locked down and you realize you didn't plug them back in
  17. Psh, I have a fix for that just take it off and send it to me. I'll put it all on ours I find that even with support the action of sliding the cowl under while tilting the back but clearing the prop hub is difficult and easier with two. It's always a lot easier if you remember to DC the cowl flaps also
  18. I'm not sure if it'll fit or not actually. It's a foot and a half wider, that'll work but we have a tee so I assume the tail fits in the pocket, never know until you try, or measure. Trying is more fun.
  19. My partner doesn't want one. Two engines and pressurization is just too much potential repair cost to go it alone. There's a real nice one in or for 100k. I'd love the twin time, boots, it's perfect.
  20. That's a beauty.
  21. That's my point. The only thing comparable to what I have is the esp or iv or something like that, they're all like 300k+ I want an experimental high altitude cross country machine.
  22. Yeah, but would it climb 1500fpm to fl200 and 1k to 240? The 235 is a nice little airplane but I like the turbo. It's also missing 2 seats.
  23. Stop talking about your p337. Every time it reminds me how bad I want one
  24. If there was an experimental Tha can do what the rocket can for the same price I'd have jumped ship but there really isn't. Lancairs are 300 to 400 and not many turbo exps other than that
