  1. Can't find much info, since they are long gone. I think ours is a 4 but I'd have to double check.
  2. Look real nice!
  3. Speed isn't the only thing. Climb and ability to keep the engine cool matters too
  4. I'm using fltplan go What's the deal with the Canadian class c? It's like class a light? I'll just go ifr lol
  5. Thanks! I'll see if they approve our application in time, but it sounds like we'll be just fine since we'll be there about noon on a weekday
  6. That's what I was afraid of
  7. Well, the other thing is Maxwell claims a 10kt penalty for the ribbed panel we have. I want to see if he's right.
  8. We have the stc one piece belly out of wheat ridge Colorado from back in the day. The one with the gear up ribs. It's a bit heavy, I wonder if going back to the multiple section k model pans wouldn't save us some weight. Any idea how much the stock belly panels weigh and if it would even be possible to go back to stock after the plane has been modified for the one piece? I have never removed the belly myself so I have no idea what's under there Ours is an 83, a year too soon for the factory one piece. Maybe someone would even trade theirs and a few bucks for this one in the off season. Is the stock pan the faster than the aftermarket one piece?
  9. Cool. Show us the westbound leg that day.
  10. Probably not going to see 230 ish in a rocket at 170, higher sure. I'd expect about 215ish. The difference is slight speed wise. The difference in weight and balance is larger.
  11. Filthy hatchlings
  12. You can pull it back. I can run 14 to 15gph in the rocket, I'm sure the bravo will do the same. I just don't.
  13. filthy immigrants.
  14. they keep talking about that everywhere in the path, I have hotel and car reservations, I should be OK unless the airport fills up, but I've got u82 and u70 right there if it does.
  15. Oh? I never used it. Is it good?
  16. I basically always run in fast mode. Seeing 10 or so knots tick away at reduced flow is too painful.
  17. McCall for a few nights (eclipse)
  18. I'd take it over any of the t360 variations but that just me.
  19. Yeah, that's easy though. I already talked to the inbound office and they're able to meet me on a sunday with advance notice no problem. Nice little trip, 1750NM and the longest leg is just over 600. 3.5 hrs to cut bank, get that cheap gas, 1.5 to cywb, 1 to gpi, more cheap gas 1 to idaho for a couple nights and no gas and about 2.5 home.
  20. IIRC they're just a 3 wire molex pin on our precise flight brakes. Post your pics.
  21. a 252 if budget allows, though there have been some very nice bravos for not much more than a nice 252 lately. there's always.. the rocket.... I'd want speed brakes, the long range tanks are nice but on a 252 I wouldn't say they're a must have. I kind of find them to be more headache than they're worth. A good engine monitor of course...
  22. only if you hold 15kias over with the speed brakes out while forward slipping and planning a touch and go.
  23. What about clearing at Lethbridge and going to Golden bc?
  24. Best of all the customs guy in Kalispell said he thought the parks were free for the anniversary. Worst of all 170 dollars for the radio station license and 60 for the operator license. Oh and 28 bucks for the customs sticker.
  25. I'll give them a shout, thanks! This all turned out to be. Much easier than I expected.
