We migrated to a GDL-39 and have this genuine Garmin flying lead cable for the Aera 500 series for sale. It has power inputs to run your Aera from ship's power, and it also has audio outputs.  Spruce is 63$, ours is 35$.

 

Perfect for Air Gizmos or yoke mount for ship's power and audio alerts.
