triple8s Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Is the idiot light (hi/low vac) all that Ovations came out with as original equipment? or was there a gauge?
co2bruce Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 You should have a digital vaccuum guage at the upper left spot of your pannel near the fuel guages.
carusoam Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 The early Ovations (pre-digital days) have a vac gauge, mechanical needle... Mine is mounted below the co pilot instrument panel... Looks like an after thought. Best regards, -a-
co2bruce Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Digital days??? The 70s and 80s were the digital number days. The FAA just discovered them in 2000.
carusoam Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 In '94, even my digital gauges have analog displays. Similar to the Corvette of its time... The rpm needle clicks up to the next position. There will be no 2699rpm on my gauge... -a-
