FloridaMan Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 This thread is only for 1967 owners unless you have a different year and have a data plate located above the door. Where is your data plate?
danb35 Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 On the cabin air inlet on the co-pilot's side, just aft of the engine cowling.
1964-M20E Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 MIne is above the main door and a hand engraved plate on the left rear inspection cover.
carusoam Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 Why the creativity of plate location in '67? My 65C and 94R both have it in "std" location under the tail... '67 was the first year for the F, right? Best regards, -a-
danb35 Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 Actually, there were a few (4, IIRC) '66 model year Fs.
FloridaMan Posted May 24, 2013 Author Report Posted May 24, 2013 Can somebody post a pic of their alternate data plate?
FloridaMan Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Posted May 27, 2013 Mine is over the door on top of the fuselage. Supposedly that's the original location.
flight2000 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 Can somebody post a pic of their alternate data plate? I'm assuming by alternate, you mean those that are on the tail. Here's a photo from when it was in the paint shop a couple of years ago. It's the black tag near the inspection panels. Brian Brian
jamesm Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 The same for my '67M20C it is under the tail on the left side. see Brian's M20E picture.
