Bennett Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 I believe that the EAA AirVenture Museum has the original aircraft, or did last year. Stunningly beautiful airplane when you see it in person.

As far as they can tell, that plane was never flown and suffered enough damage during its storage that it could never be made airworthy. The one being built is essentially not a reproduction but serial number 2 and the first flying example.
