ELT Replacement for going north.

I have a dilemma I need to replace my elt battery and I have been planning on flying to the in-laws which is almost 200 nm to the north of Sault Ste Marie in Canada, needless to say it is a much shorter flight than the 1300 mile drive from here in the southern U.S. however I have to have a 406 MHZ ELT to satisfy Canadian Regs. I had an ACK E-04 ordered and it seems it hadnt been approved by the FAA yet so now I have to choose another, any input would be appreciated.
