banjo Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 Does anyone have or know of anybody supercharging a 180 or 200 hp Mooney? l know there's supercharged comanches There's supercharge kits available in the home builds for 180, 200 hp lycomings. l think l saw a stc once in a list for a superharger on a Mooney. mike28w Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 Hi ! I'm not aware of anyone who has a supercharger....but some folks have turbochargers on their Mooneys.... The only product name that I know of is the RayJay. I beleive that it's STC'd for some of our Mooneys...... Btw, re: Comanches....the 260 C model ( at least some of them) was turbocharged....not sure that any of them were supercharged. I got a ride in a 260C one day...it was a mover !! Quote
