Fix Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Fake? Aviation News (Key Publishing) November Issue. Found it on Facebook. 1 1
EricJ Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 If true, we could make book on how long until it closes again. 2 1
Paul Thomas Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 If it is real, that info should be dispersed to all the aviation news outlet. If true, the poor media start is not a good sign for the future. I want it to be true but I don't believe it is.
IvanP Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Most likely fake news, but it would be nice to see new Mooneys roll off the line again.
toto Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Jerry Chen hasn’t been CEO in more than ten years. This feels like a 2013ish article that someone slapped a “2026” on.
PeteMc Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Where did you see that on FB? And I'm going to speculate that someone just misunderstood the investment in parts and thought they were going to build aircraft again. But then we can always hope...
Hank Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 High hopes, but low expectations. Kind of like football season this year . . .
GeeBee Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 The wording is suspect. "will bring new production aircraft from January 2026". Bad sentence syntax and I suspect someone who has English as a second language (most likely in China) is attempting a play of some kind.
Justin Schmidt Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 More fake than Pamela Anderson's tits 2

Ibra Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 (edited) Good news but I give it less than 1% probability ! Even less than 0.01% as it seems against the trend for new GA aircraft. Beech, ahem Textron, stopped Baron and Bonanza ! I am not sure how much the trend is related to competition from "1M-2M piston with TV screens"? or competition from "200AMU fantastic plastic"? or new MOSAIC rules? Edited November 27, 2025 by Ibra
Schllc Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 The factory website does still list an acclaim for sale! Alas, it’s merely another piece of the business neglected.
201er Posted November 28, 2025 Report Posted November 28, 2025 Sure, you can totally buy a brand new Mooney! You just have to buy along the entire factory and get it running to have it built 1
201Steve Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 Vref podcast just released an episode claiming new Mooney priced at $1.8mm. I can’t find any corroborated info
