What's your oil consumption rate.

I have a 1999 ovation and the oil level likes to sit  at about 5 1/2.  Burning  about a quarter every 6 hours.  1370 tt on the engine.  Leaks a little around the exhaust pipe.  That's where a see the oil.    Just wondering what everyone else sees.  Thanks

I have a 1998 M20R with 310 HP STC and about 2400 SNEW.  I consume about 1 qt every 10-15 hours, depending on how much time on the oil.

I have a 2005 M20R and use about 1 qt every 6 hours with about 600 hrs and 310 hp. I also run ROP 90% of the time at 2400 RPM and if I’m running LOP I use 2550 RPM. I’m not happy with the oil consumption.

Not an M20R, but the IO360 I rebuilt has finally settled in after about 200 hours. My lowest compression is 77 and I rarely have to add any oil between oil changes. And that is with Continental cylinders.

2006 M20R with about 800h. App 1 qt per 15+hours. Oil refill at 6qt.

 On my itty bitty continental I rarely add oil between 25hr changes and I keep it 3/4 capacity of XC, it stays pretty much there
