Australian M20K Owner Posted August 30 Report Posted August 30 I just flew 25 hours over 2 weeks. My EDM 830 started to alarm "DIF" at low RPM (i.e. not in cruise) with #6 cylinder EGT being the hottest. I am thinking either a manifold inlet leak or an injector issue. Anyone else had a similar experience? The aircraft had it's 50 hourly last week and compressions were fine.
natdm Posted September 1 Report Posted September 1 That’s weird for sure. Mines always the lowest by a relatively substantial amount. The diff between highest and lowest on mine can be 47f, with #6 the lowest at 316.
PeteMc Posted September 1 Report Posted September 1 Typically #5 is the hotest on the TSIO-360 due to the air scoop blocking a good amount of the airflow. So maybe a bad probe?
