DonMuncy Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 Yesterday about midmorning, when I logged onto Mooneyspace, I would hit the browse button, but no windows dropped down below it. I tried two other laptops with the same result. I could go to the various forums, but no new posts appeared. I tried using the bugs and suggestion forum, and it would allow me to "create a new topic", but would then not open the space for me to type in the information. I texted a couple of guys I know who use MS. (This is a bit of a problem, as the only way I know to contact 99% of you is through MS) They both said they had no issues. Sometime in the evening, everything appeared OK, but only about 2 or 3 new posts appeared in most forums. On a typical day you know there are dozens in most forums. Anyone else having these problems? I can't see how it could be my laptops, and I have difficulty seeing how a network could have this problem. 1
redbaron1982 Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 Yeah, I think it was down for everyone. I was having issues posting messages, too. And I didn't see any new message like in 18 hours, so I guess everyone was having issues.
Hank Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 I just figured everyone was distracted by the whole DCA mess . . . All forums.shiwed the most recent post as 22 hours ago the last time I checked, then new post slowly began to appear.
PeteMc Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 I believe there was a software update that didn't go through all the paces. It was resolved later in the day with a bit of help.
Mooney in Oz Posted February 2 Report Posted February 2 It was the same on this side of the world. I don’t know if anyone else has had this other problem, whereby MS at times is taking too long to load. It maybe my iPad, but I wonder if others are having this same issue?

There is no telling how many hundreds of other customers are sharing the server we are running on. For that matter, we may get pushed from one server to another. Sometimes load balancing is semi-automatic, sometimes manual, sometimes non-existent. I suspect variability in response time is normal without an upgrade in our hosting contract. 1
