Mark1964M20C Posted January 14, 2024 Report Posted January 14, 2024 I’m looking to replace my two piece windshield with a one piece, just received the .250 inch upgraded part, instructions a little vague… any advice before I begin disassembly would be much appreciated.
Fritz1 Posted January 14, 2024 Report Posted January 14, 2024 Hire somebody who has done this before, a couple of years ago I ran one of my wingtips into my hangar, ordered lense, fitted it and cracked it, the second one was perfect, steep learning curve, windshield more complex than lense, work with someone who has done windshields 1
Greg Ellis Posted January 15, 2024 Report Posted January 15, 2024 It looks like you are in Canada so the rules may be a little different but in the US the front windshield has to be either done by an A&P or done by you but signed off by an A&P. The side windows are different and can just be done by the owner.
