willerjim273 Posted October 16, 2023 Report Posted October 16, 2023 Anyone know where the roll servo is located? 80 M20K. Thanks Quote
PT20J Posted October 16, 2023 Report Posted October 16, 2023 King and Garmin put it in the right wing near the aileron. Not sure about others. Quote
EricJ Posted October 16, 2023 Report Posted October 16, 2023 My Century III has the roll servo in the left wing, just outboard of the bellcrank for the aileron. Quote
ArtVandelay Posted October 16, 2023 Report Posted October 16, 2023 Look for extra rivets where there’s mounting bracket for the servo, close to L/R ailerons. Quote
201Mooniac Posted October 16, 2023 Report Posted October 16, 2023 My STEC 55X was in the right wing, the same location as the King and Garmin servos go. Quote
willerjim273 Posted October 16, 2023 Author Report Posted October 16, 2023 Thanks all. Interesting. Quote
JimK Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 This may not be helpful since you have a K Model but, on an Ovation 3, the roll servo is below the instrument panel in the center console just below he engine controls. Quote
mooneyflyfast Posted February 23 Report Posted February 23 On my J the KFC 200 roll servo is in the right wing where the actuator rod for the aileron comes out of the wing. Inspection cover with pop rivets. Quote
goodyFAB Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 my k is a century 41 pilot wing, aileron bell crank Quote
