FADEC Posted September 5, 2023 Author Report Posted September 5, 2023 @ArtVandelay Don’t think that will work, thing the last number is the amperage. Think -3 is 3 amps and the -5 is 5 amps. Quote

201Mooniac Posted September 5, 2023 Report Posted September 5, 2023 I'm pretty sure I have one from my 1980 M20J. I can check in the hangar next time I go. Quote

mhrivnak Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 I have the ETA version out of a 1990 M20J. It's marked "41-10-P10" and "5A AC250V" on the back. Let me know if that would work for you. https://photos.app.goo.gl/u9kBTwbUz8Si4Uqy8 Quote
mooneyflyfast Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 That’s a switch with a built in 5 amp breaker if I’m not mistaken. You could probably replace it with a toggle switch and a 5 amp fuse Quote

FADEC Posted September 7, 2023 Author Report Posted September 7, 2023 @ArtVandelay I think the Mooney part number is the switch part number I listed. But I’m very new at this and probably wrong. That switch is for the electric trim with the KFC200 AP system. I bought a switch from @Aerodon, hope it works looks a little different. The mechanic at my field said getting it to fit on the bus bar will be the problem. @A64Pilot if the switch I have coming doesn’t work I’ll see if my mechanic will give that a try. andy Quote

Aerodon It’s been a while, but I thought the 12v+ was a bus bar (strip of copper, all the terminals should align nicely if it’s the same type), he’s not referring to the main bus bar. Quote

I'm sure it varies by year. Some switches are on the busbar that is fed any a 70A Aux CB. The Primer button is not on this busbar and is protected by an inline fuse off this busbar. The Trim on the KFC150/200 autopilot is completely separate. You are probably correct, a trim switch that is not part of an autopilot is probably on the busbar. Aerodon Quote
