Dear all mooniacs,

I'm designing a new cockpit for my F. It would enormously useful if someone of you who have the drawing of the tubing which hold the panels.

This would allow me to make a 3D design and avoid bad surprise on the assembly.

Thank you a lot.

Andrea

I don’t have what you are looking for but, I’m on the process of redoing my instrument panel. I had the cad file cut out of clear acrylic first, corrected measurements on auto cad and then sent it to the shop to get it cut.. Sendcutsend will cut the panel out of acrylic for $85 thats with shipping. I hope this helps.

I am looking into what it would take (and even if it possible) to make this a two dimensional panel for my 67C...

@cliffy, would you post a pic of the transition area of the two panels?

Posted

My main panel is vertical as in later Mooneys and not angled back at 8 degrees.

The transition panel (with the radios in it) is just flat aluminum the width of the radio rack.

It does have a folded left end (triangular in shape) to fill the gap between the main panel

and the radio rack panel

I don't have a picture of it and I will not be near the airplane for the next 3 weeks but when

I get out there I will endeavor to get a picture posted

I think they called it burled wood when Cliffy made it…

But Siri even try to change what I wrote…. :)

Best regards,
