I did use their foam pads too. That for the areas with flush rivets. For the areas with round head rivets I used a smaller polisher. Spray light water as you go. It makes a big difference. I will add pictures of the two I used later.

Ok. Just to clarify and to add more information. I used Norton Liquid Ice Extra Cut. I used the polisher with a wool pad. I do have the foam pads. I did use the foam ones, blue, white, black, but the wool seem to be the one with the best results. Also this equipment I am using is very old. I am sure there are new options out there. The ultra fine compound I haven’t used yet. So this pictures are before even using the ultra fine compound. The small polisher I used over the round head rivet areas. It might take a bit longer, but it doesn’t cut or remove the paint off the rivet heads.
