Stetson20 Posted October 4, 2022 Report Posted October 4, 2022 Stuck the post here as it seemed to be the best forum for the subject. I'm planning to go. Anyone else? Quote
PeteMc Posted October 4, 2022 Report Posted October 4, 2022 I really wanted to go to the one at OSH, but got back from a 5 week trip out west on Wed. before it started. Just didn't think my mind would be up for it. Now we're just about to launch on a X-US flight with various stops along the way. So again it looks like I'm going to miss it. Haven't been to one in years, but COVID did a number on my flying based on my schedule was slammed the first 18 months, and even if I did have time to fly, there wasn't really anyplace to go. So it would have been nice to shake some additional rust off on the down in the weeds info you can get from them. (And I do like that kind of info when the brains ready to absorb it. ) 1 Quote

Jerry 5TJ Posted October 23, 2022 Report Posted October 23, 2022 A number of Mooneys flew in for the training. A clear morning with a bit of frost on the wings greeted us for the first flight of the day. 2 Quote
Stetson20 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Report Posted October 24, 2022 Excellent training. Gave me a much better foundation for flying my plane. As I had so few hours in the plane, my training consisted of more "orientation/transition" than preparing for a BFR. I'm very satisfied with the training and planning to attend again next year. Quote
Scott Ashton Posted October 24, 2022 Report Posted October 24, 2022 I'm going to the one in LAL in January..."Frost on the wings" isnt in my vocabulary anymore! 1 Quote
