New panel installed. It really highlights how tired the old glareshield is. The avionics guy said it was like holding a cardboard pizza box when he was trying to reinstall it.

Any ideas where/who to contact for a new one?

TIA

Hello you may just adjust the brightness level going into menu settings

Hello Philip.

Stetson is referring to the glareshield, otherwise known as the instrument panel cover.

Sending it off to get recovered/rehabbed is the usual treatment.    I don't know of a replacement source other than a junkyard, and then you'll still be starting with a used one.

The Aircraft Spruce glare shield doesn't have the raised area in the middle.  It would require you to modify your panel to use.

Send your picture to Hector at Aerocomfort in San Antonio. He should be able to tell you if it can be repaired.  I had my glare shield repaired and covered last year by Aerocomfort..

Did you get your glareshield replaced? I just replaced my good glareshield with a leather-covered one so the extra one is available for sale. Mine is in good condition with the slot cover and underside lights. PM me if you're interested.
