3D Printed or Plastic Model?

Anyone know where I can find a 3D printed model or a plastic model for my 201? I'd like to start messing with paint schemes and figure a plastic model is the best way.

Does anyone print a 3D headset holder that works off the Mooney glareshield?

I saw this picture in a person's Piper and thought it looked like a good idea.

There are literally hundreds of headset hangars (usually meant to be attached to desktop edges) on thingiverse.  That's a pretty good idea.  The main issue is that it MUST be printed in ABS or nylon to withstand cabin temps, neither of which are terribly popular for a variety of reasons.

Well, I downloaded the STL file...took about 30 minutes to generate the G-code for the printer.  And, I'm about an hour-and-a-half into printing the fuselage and wings...there is a LONG way to go.  Like, maybe it will finish by tomorrow morning!

We'll see how well it turns out.

Well, I am running the slicer on an ancient Windows XP machine (circa 2003)

Arrrgghhh!!

3.5 hours in, it crashed!  One of the rafts for the right wing pulled off the build platform

Fuselage halves are done...need to edit the file to see if I can just print the wings.
