Bob R.
My Avionics blower fan, part C414007-0101 made by Globe Motors has died. Appears the part is no longer made and I can't find anyone that still has a new one. Any suggestions for replacement? Thanks
shawnd
Globe Motor is now owned by Allied Motion, give their Alabama office a call (works better than email for first contact). The Alabama one is the FAA repair station: Allied Motion 3887 Napier Field Road Dothan, Alabama 36303-9607 USA Tel: 1 (334) 983-3542 Fax: 1 (334) 983-7284 E-mail: inquiry@alliedmotion.com https://www.alliedmotion.com/locations/ I had my cowl flap motor, also originally produced by Globe Motors, repaired by them.
smwash02
Mine has started being noisy as well. Here are the cooling fans on spruce. One of the Lonestar Cyclones is what I'm going to end up with. Edited November 15, 2021 by smwash02
Aerodon
I will be removing mine soon, what avionics are left that need a cooling fan? GTN has its own, GTX345 has its own, SL30 does not need one, etc. Look on eBay for troll cooling fan, literally dozens available. My 530W is the only reason my plane still has a separate avionics fan.

The person to talk to at Globe is Bobbie Eldredge. Hopefully she is still there. She was on top of it when I sent a cowl flap motor in 7+ years ago
