bbakerco Posted January 3, 2021 Report Posted January 3, 2021 Does anyone know if it's possible to change the gear warning MP setting? Currently, my gear warning horn goes off below 18" MP. Would like to drop it to about 14 or 15 because it goes off in the downwind when I'm still doing 90kts. I have to slow up for 172's in the pattern all the time and it's really annoying for the horn to be blaring the whole time. Quote
PT20J Posted January 3, 2021 Report Posted January 3, 2021 It’s a microswitch mounted on a bracket attached to the throttle cable immediately behind the panel. You can adjust it by loosening the clamping screws and moving the assembly. Skip 1 Quote
ragedracer1977 Posted January 3, 2021 Report Posted January 3, 2021 On my C, you just moved the micro switch on the throttle. Not sure how your J works. By the way, I’ll be at the hangar working on the 310 tomorrow for most of the day. 31-1, if you want to stop by and check it out Quote
EricJ Posted January 3, 2021 Report Posted January 3, 2021 Some J's, like mine, have an adjustment screw accessible from the front. This might be because mine has the superior quadrant instead of a push-pull throttle. 2 Quote
carusoam Posted January 4, 2021 Report Posted January 4, 2021 @bbakerco your answer has arrived... above. The throttle sensor switch is adjustable... There are threads with pics around here if you need more detail tonight! Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
