carusoam Posted May 21, 2021 Report Posted May 21, 2021 Pete, You got that one in under the wire.... Lance’s smart a$$ response was 11 months ago... Any longer would have been a full year. Go MS! Quirky Mooney comedy provided for over a decade... -a- 1 Quote
201Steve Posted May 22, 2021 Report Posted May 22, 2021 Perhaps some best of the best Mooneyspace comedy on this thread. 2 Quote

I love it, and don't really want to buy another one just for the M20J I fly. What's the best mount and location for this beast? I know it is an old thread but I use a 12.9" iPad in the cockpit. While I'm not currently flying a Mooney, a yoke mount is a yoke mount, pretty much. Marauder Posted May 26, 2021 Report Posted May 26, 2021 I'm using a MyGoFlight mount on the right side. I've tried every mount in the book and have a whole cupboard full of RAM mounts that I didn't like at all. The MyGoFlight is great. The mount allows the iPad to spin between landscape and portrait with just the touch of a finger. This is the Adhesive Petal base. It's just stuck on the panel. No drilling or screws. Then the Sport Mount Flex Clip base is attached to the Petal base with four screws. From there a fully articulating arm holds the iPad case and iPad. That mount looks different than the one I bought. Did you modify it? I agree the mygoflight stuff is well made and priced accordingly (drives this cheap bast^%d crazy).Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro Quote
Joe Larussa Posted May 30, 2021 Report Posted May 30, 2021 I fought this for a long time but the yoke mount really does work if you dial it in just right. 1 Quote
