Newer Mooney wiring schematics are on one large drawing for the entire airplane and are found in the back of the maintenance manual.  What circuit are you trying to figure out?

Just did dual g5 install and got it all back together and now the post lights don’t work. I’ve tried tracing everything down but the manuals I have can’t be read they are blurry at best. It’s driving me crazy.

I printed out my wiring diagram at a staples as a 2'x3' print, then I had it laminated....when I trace out wires, I mark the plastic with marksalot with colored dots at each bend and use a straight edge to make sure im not off course...with a little elbow grease you can erase the dots with a paper towel rubbing hard.  I am a control system electrician by trade

Nice to know now if I can just find what appears to be a 5amp in-line fuse for the post lights I can possibly fix the problem.

Do you have the 3 dimmer knobs below the throttle quadrant?

Just the 2 on the right side below radio stack. I’m getting 12v at the dimmers. Glare shield working and some self lit instruments working but zero post lights and they all worked before this upgrade.

so the 75 F which is a prototype for the early Js.   The dimmers use a transistor circuit to dim the lights.   There is a transistor board located on the top of the front wheel well.   There are 4 screws that hold in place.   There are also 5 amp plug in fuses on that same board.   The fuses look like this   https://www.alliedelec.com/product/littelfuse/37011000410/70184438/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAmsrxBRDaARIsANyiD1rhNWnpIJirdOlqruQt1JuqhwB2lejfKCM80aev4IMW4JUBNxOPzHQaArYKEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

The holder looks like a nub

I have 4 of these under the right side on the bottom of the circuit breaker tray. I unscrewed one and had never seen a fuse like that so I didn’t pull and check it. I’m assuming you can just ohm check it for continuity?  I hope that’s the issue but I’m scepticle. I will try tomorrow once at the hangar. Thanks for the info!  May have saved me a lot of time.

Never seen them before either.   Should be able to ohm them.  Hoping your installer did not get a ground and a panel lights circuit mixed up.
