Dix3 Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 Back in a Mooney after 25 years flying other manufacturer. Trouble shooting failure to complete preflight test of KFC150. Pitch and trim servos were out of specs, rebuilt to specs. Still issues receiving proper voltage. Next step, replacing autopilot disconnect yoke switch and or split trim switch. Any referrals for purchasing switches greatly appreciated. Dix3, flying 95M20R Quote
LANCECASPER Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 I had a trim switch on a KFC150 rebuilt and it worked great after that. The switch on mine used three of these. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Honeywell/1SX74-T/?qs=10P5Hhl%2bD796P7tntVKlzg%3D%3D Quote
carusoam Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 Welcome aboard, Dix. I’m with Lance on this one.... You can use the search function at the top of the screen. A few people have had the switch taken apart to replace the microswitches within. It might just take a good cleaning. If you need the full service route... AP Central is a very helpful shop. That switch gets used a lot in my plane. If it’s a go around, the switch gets pressed pretty hard for some reason... PP thoughts only. Not a mechanic... Best regards, -a- Quote
