  1. Delivery as in MN to VA. Will advise after JPI determines issue
  2. New JPI 900 installed in M20R, two short test flights after installation. Screen went dark approx 1.3 hrs into six state cross country delivery flight. Mechanic checked, 24 volts at pin, J.P. Instr. said send back. Plane grounded for another two weeks or so as 900 was primary. Guess you can say 0-1 cross country flights. Problem, when instrument goes blank, lose everything, not good after OEM gauges (fuel, cyl temp, mp, rpm) removed/space. Sure hope I'll experience excellent reliability beginning with the second trip!
  3. Two years appears to be max life for my #2 battery on 1995 M20R. I fly every 10-14 days, always alternate between 1 & 2 battery every other trip. Logs appear to show approx 24 mos. max life expectancy for #2, is this the norm, if not suggestions to extend battery life? No issues with #1.
  4. Back in a Mooney after 25 years flying other manufacturer. Trouble shooting failure to complete preflight test of KFC150. Pitch and trim servos were out of specs, rebuilt to specs. Still issues receiving proper voltage. Next step, replacing autopilot disconnect yoke switch and or split trim switch. Any referrals for purchasing switches greatly appreciated. Dix3, flying 95M20R
