Old logbook from a restaurant

At one of our local restaurants they do the old stuff on the wall decor.  I happened to sit at a new table last night and noticed a old pilots logbook screwed to the wall.  Only one page filled out but I thought it was interesting.

Island Airport near Knoxville is a great little airport and it is super convenient to downtown.  If you stay overnight, the Holiday Inn will pick you up, from there you can walk pretty much wherever you want to go.

You might want to avoid it when Tennessee is playing at home.

Yea, DKX is where I learned to fly and I stop in to see what’s going on from time to time.  It used to be towered years ago.  TFR every home game in the Fall.  1944.  Cool

Knoxville is one of our favourite overnight stops.  It's got great pubs being a university city...  And if you aren't adverse to exercise, we find the island airport is only about a half hour walk to downtown.
