Amelia Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 I'm beginning to really like this airplane! Funny how much familiarity adds to the fun. That and smooth air, sunshine and tailwind. 2:45 from EDE to GFL. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk 11 Quote
co2bruce Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 That makes me very happy. She is a wonderful airplane. Quote
steingar Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Congrats Mimi. Looks spanky. Hope we get to catch up one of these days. Quote
HRM Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Beautiful bird, such long lines--makes me think of a statuesque woman's legs for some peculiar reason. Quote
Bob_Belville Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Color me a little jealous, 4:45 MRN to 6B6 Thursday. (40 gallons 100LL) I see that you're still bugging the good doctor to get a haircut! Quote
mike_elliott Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 How are you adapting to the panel height, Mimi? All good I assume Quote
Amelia Posted October 15, 2017 Author Report Posted October 15, 2017 Mike, with the seat cranked all the way up, Mike, the visibility seems pretty good. I am thinking, if I have many more culinary adventures like this amazing weekend with a friend who likes to entertain, I may need 3" rudder pedal extensions.Yeah, Bob, haven't managed to lasso him yet. I blame the small patient who stared at him, pointed at the unruly white hair and 'stache, and, with a wide grin, crowed, "Einstein!" Rob was inordinantly pleased.Weather for the next leg of the trip looks less fine than the trip north. Where's my tailwind?Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote

We're heading back MA to NC Tuesday, weather should be fine, tailwinds would be too much to ask. Quote
